Royals’ Bullpen Savior? Langevin’s Strikeout Surge | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals’ bullpen is in trouble, but a wild-armed rookie named L.P. Langevin might be the answer—despite only playing High-A ball. Throwing 95+ mph with elite spin and movement, Langevin’s fastball is a top-tier minor league weapon. He’s striking out batters at an insane 45% clip (105 Ks in 54 innings), ranking second in all of baseball for strikeout rate. His whiff rate leads his league too, and he’s shown durability by pitching multiple innings. But don’t expect polish—he walks plenty, throws few strikes, and has given up more homers than before. Still, his ability to miss bats is exactly what Kansas City desperately needs. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
