Royals Hold Key Pitchers Despite Struggles | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals held firm at the trade deadline, keeping key pitchers Michael Wacha and Seth Lugo despite a dismal 22-44 record with them on the mound. They shipped out Lane Thomas and Bailey Falter, but the real story is what they didn’t do — nothing to move their core arms, who’re locked in through 2027. GM J.J.
