Royals Pitching Matchup Preview | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals are on fire, riding a five-game win streak into September with a nine-game homestand against the Marlins — and the pitching matchups are electric. Randy Dobnak opens things up against Tyler Phillips, followed by Noah Cameron (August’s best pitcher) vs. Eury Perez, and Michael Wacha (two scoreless starts in a row) taking on Sandy Alcantara, the Marlins’ Cy Young-caliber ace. Both Royals starters are hot, while Cags, Jac Caglianone, is crushing it at the plate with a .400+ average and RBIs galore — this series has everything.
