Royals Rally Late to Streak On | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals are heating up, winning four of five since the All-Star break with a gritty 3-2 victory over the Giants. Luinder Avila pitched six strong innings, striking out seven, while Nick Loftin delivered the clutch go-ahead hit. Carter Jensen launched his 14th home run, and Vinnie Pasquantino tied the game before Loftin sealed it. Alex Lange closed it out for his ninth save. With a 42-60 record, they’ll look to sweep the Giants tomorrow with Seth Lugo on the mound — showing real grit and resilience as the season winds down.
