Royals Rally Past Padres in 10th | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals pulled off a heart-stopping 7-6 walk-off win over the Padres in extra innings, ending a five-game skid with Carter Jensen’s career-first two-run single in the 10th. Seth Lugo anchored the pitching with six strong innings, while Lane Thomas launched a solo homer early. The game swung wildly — the Padres took a 6-3 lead in the top of the 10th, but the Royals roared back with four runs, capped by Jensen’s clutch hit. Lucas Ecreg earned the win as the Padres fell to 48-49, setting up a rematch tomorrow with Griffin Canning on the mound.
