Royals Struggle as Rays Sweep | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals got swept by the AL-leading Rays, losing 19-6 over three games as only three hitters—Carter Jensen, Bobby Witt Jr., and Isaac Collins—managed to drive in runs. Jensen blasted leadoff homers in two games, Witt added two more to his 13-home-run season total, and Collins delivered a clutch shot on Thursday after months of swing adjustments. But the rest of the lineup went cold, batting just .119 with zero RBIs, exposing a deep offensive crisis. Now, with a weekend showdown against the Phillies looming, the Royals need to find their offensive rhythm fast—or risk another losing streak.
