RSA driving testers vote in favour of strike action

from Ocean FM News Reports

Driving testers at the Road Safety Authority have voted in favour of industrial action over concerns about insurance cover while carrying out driving tests. The Fórsa trade union says there is no proper system to confirm that vehicles presented for tests are fully insured. The dispute will be discussed at the Workplace Relations Commission on the 20th of January. Speaking to Ocean FM News, Diane Harvey of D’s School of Motoring says any strike would seriously affect driving test waiting times in the North West.
