When it came to 90’s metal icon’s Peter Steele was the chosen poster boy and the class clown, his rise from Red Hook, Brooklyn to the world stage was unlike any other, learning on the job and living three lives at a time, his comedy and anger was a facade for pain and angst, growing up in NYHC movement, and the culture of mid 80’s CBGB’s club scene, he pushed every boundary with his first band Carnivore, self sabotaging yet never running away from a sonic voice, he was a master of outrage and sarcasm.
