富蘭克林曾說：「告訴我，我會忘記；教給我，我會記得；讓我實踐，我才能學會；讓我思考，一輩子就是我的了！」培養孩子思考與發問最重要的是引導孩子一起學習如何「讓孩子獨立思考、尋找答案、採取行動，並從中不斷學習」。不要下指導棋、不要告訴孩子答案。家長可以帶領孩子以閱讀開始，透過繪本、小說或故事，將書中的內容描述並解構，在場景勾起孩子的學習好奇心，共同研究出解決的方式。
