我們從小被教導要做好人，於是在生活中就得「說好話、做好事、存好心」，努力地讓自己成為好人。然而若誤以為世間是善、惡分隔，妄解善是純善、惡即純惡，人生就會陷入一種很大的矛盾。因為現實的世間是緣生法，而緣生是多面向的緣起，是互相關連不可分割的多面緣起。所以沒有「絕對」的好心、好話、好事，更不會有「絕對的好人」。
