Rûaḥ: Gifts

Sometimes we often use the words interchangeably, but the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Holy Spirit are two different things. When we look at the fruit of the Spirit, we see these produced in our lives when we begin following Jesus. But the gifts of the Holy Spirit are things given to us for a specific purpose to equip the church. In fact, the first gift of the Holy Spirit was the church - a place meant to bless the world.
