All the parts of Cristain armour that the Apostle Paul listed in Ephesians 6: 13 -17 are defensive weapons but one. The only weapon that God has given his children for defence is the Sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. Just like Jesus used the scriptures to disarm the devil during his temptation, we must take time to read, study and hide the word of God in our hearts if we are to be victorious. The word of God is living and active and is sharper than a double edged sword when used by believers in their spiritual warfare.
