Quite often in our spiritual warfare, Satan will also use mis applied scriptures to put us down. He did this during the temptations of Jesus. It calls on us not only to know what is written but other scriptures that corroborates what is written. Jesus did not just say it's written, He also said "its also written". Let us avoid being "one line" believers and inculcate a culture of studying the word of God thoroughly. One portion of the scriptures interprets another and so we should aspire as Paul said to know the whole counsel of God!
