ルカの福音書 7:24-35 メッセージ34「あなたはヨハネよりも優れている」

24 ヨハネの使いが帰ってから、イエスは群集に、ヨハネについて話しだされた。「あなたがたは、何を見に荒野に出て行ったのですか。風に揺れる葦ですか。25 でなかったら、何を見に行ったのですか。柔らかい着物を着た人ですか。きらびやかな着物を着て、ぜいたくに暮らしている人たちなら宮殿にいます。26 でなかったら、何を見に行ったのですか。預言者ですか。そのとおり。だが、わたしが言いましょう。預言者よりもすぐれた者をです。27 その人こそ、『見よ、わたしは使いをあなたの前に遣わし、あなたの道を、あなたの前に備えさせよう。』と書かれているその人です。28 あなたがたに言いますが、女から生まれた者の中で、ヨハネよりもすぐれた人は、ひとりもいません。しかし、神の国で一番小さい者でも、彼よりすぐれています。29 ヨハネの教えを聞いたすべての民は、取税人たちさえ、ヨハネのバプテスマを受けて、神の正しいことを認めたのです。30 これに反して、パリサイ人、律法の専門家たちは、彼らからバプテスマを受けないで、神の自分たちに対するみこころを拒みました。31 では、この時代の人々は、何にたとえたらよいでしょう。何に似ているでしょう。32 市場にすわって、互いに呼びかけながら、こう言っている子どもたちに似ています。『笛を吹いてやっても、君たちは踊らなかった。弔いの歌を歌ってやっても、泣かなかった。』33 というわけは、バプテスマのヨハネが来て、パンも食べず、ぶどう酒も飲まずにいると、『あれは悪霊につかれている』とあなたがたは言うし、34 人の子が来て、食べもし、飲みもすると、『あれ見よ。食いしんぼうの大酒飲み、取税人や罪人の仲間だ』と言うのです。35 だが、知恵の正しいことは、そのすべての子どもたちが証明します。」 1. ヨハネは素晴らしい人物だ A .彼は「風に揺れる葦か」？ B. 柔らかい着物を着た人か？  ジョン・フス 詩篇３４：１「私はあらゆる時に主をほめたたえる。私の口には、いつも主への賛美がある。」 2. 神の国で一番小さい者でも、ヨハネよりすぐれている ローマ１０：４「キリストが律法を終わらせられたので、信じる人はみな義と認められるのです。」 ローマ１：１６「私は福音を恥とは思いません。福音は、ユダヤ人をはじめギリシヤ人にも、信じるすべての人にとって、救いを得させる神の力です。」 シリル・エドウィン・ミッチンソン・ジョード Luke 7:24~35 “You Are Greater Than John” 24 After John’s messengers left, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swayed by the wind? 25 If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear expensive clothes and indulge in luxury are in palaces.26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 27 This is the one about whom it is written: “‘I will send my messenger ahead of you,    who will prepare your way before you.’ 28 I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” 29 (All the people, even the tax collectors, when they heard Jesus’ words, acknowledged that God’s way was right, because they had been baptized by John. 30 But the Pharisees and the experts in the law rejected God’s purpose for themselves, because they had not been baptized by John.) 31 Jesus went on to say, “To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? 32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: “‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.’ 33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’35 But wisdom is proved right by all her children. 1.John the Baptist is a truly remarkable man. A. Was he “a reed shaken by the wind”?
