Monifa Bandele is a leader for the Policy Table for the Movement for Black Lives and led campaigns to free U.S. held political prisoners and the launch of 2 historic legal cases against police conduct (Daniels vs. NYC and Floyd vs. NYC). They joined Evening WURDs guest host Keir Bradford-Grey to discuss the Black August Sessions and its importance of these events during this time of consistent attacks on our voting rights and DEI.
