We’re continuing our summer cocktail menu with the Rum Runner, an exotic refreshener brought to you by VANDER. Originally from the white sand beaches of the Dominican Republic, VANDER is currently based in Amsterdam. He is the connection of all the pieces of a puzzled world influenced brain. Collecting memories and acquiring knowledge from a diverse group of cultures, it was impossible not to let them influence his musical taste. His sound is the result of his inclination towards spirituality, romance, and connection. All this, combined with his Latin musical influences coming from the sunny Caribbean, result in a rhythm he describes as "mambo". Vander just returned from his show at the Horde Cruise in Paris when he recorded this exclusive set for Schirmchendrink. Next stop is the Monastery festival by The Gardens of Babylon, where he plays as resident. Cheers!
