Run, Jeremiah Run! Chapter 8 ICE CREAM 'N DREAMS

In chapter 7, Jeremiah was excited to witness his first race. From the sound of the starting pistol, to watching the Blue Team suffer another loss, he was overcome with a desire to know what it felt like to be part of a track team. When Mr. Kennedy challenged him to a short race of his own, Jeremiah showed everyone just how fast he could run. Later that night, he prayed there would someday soon be a place on the Blue Team for him.
