Run Yolei Run

Apparently Yolei woke up and chose absolute chaos. As the DigiDestined begin searching for the Digimon Emperor’s mysterious moving base, the episode starts laying the groundwork for a bigger, more connected story that has us really excited about where Season 2 is headed. But the real question is… what the heck got into Yolei?! She goes from determined to completely unhinged so fast that we half expected her to pull a Jessie Spano and start yelling, “I’m so excited!” Thankfully, her reckless streak leads to a genuinely sweet moment with Hawkmon and a little much-needed perspective from Kari. We’re talking Yolei’s wild behavior, the promise of this new overarching storyline, Ken’s floating fortress, and why this episode was such a fun time.
