Run Your Race
from Daily Got a Minute Message with John Ed · host DENON
Josh Kerr set a goal this year to break the record for the men’s mile. Roger Bannister was the first to break the 4-minute mile in 1954. The last time the world record for the mile was broken was in 1999. In July 2026, Josh broke the world record by running the mile in 3 minutes, 42.66 seconds. It took a lot of discipline and hard work. He utilized altitude training and technology and had several people who paced him. Goals are easy to set, but difficult to attain. God has a great goal for you to be the person that He created you to be. How well are you reaching that goal? Run well your race. Be sure you can say with Paul that you have run a good race and you finished the course and you have kept the faith. That’s achieving the best goal in life.
