Thank you for listening to this song. It's taken from the album "Audiotronic Traveller" (2007). Electropop, melodic, dance and '80s sound influences... someone said there are beats of Depeche Mode too :) Please support me and tell your friends who may like my music! • official website with FREE music download: www.lespattes.com • follow me on Soundcloud @lespattes • like me on Facebook www.facebook.com/lespattes ***** RUNAWAY I was running away I was running away I didn t get drunk With beers With daiquiris Mojitos Or exotic spirits I was running away From a heart That had lost its beat From the eyes That had lost their colors From the hands That had lost Their warmth I was trying to Drink my sorrow away I was trying to Forget what I left In your heart Wonderful view Of the bay I had what I needed Forgot what I wanted It was a pleasure to sink Into a deep sleep With you So different From all the others Forgot what I wanted Had what I needed You can't have both You can't You can't have both That's what Your mama said I was running away I was running away
