Hebrews 11 is often referred to as the “Hall of the Faithful." It gives way to Hebrews chapter 12 with, “seeing we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses let us run. . .” We are all running and ultimately we are running for home. There are many that run with us. Some encourage us and some not so much. There are things that slow us down in this race. But ultimately we have a Savior who is both Author and Finisher.” This Memorial Day message reflects on those gone before us with a reminder that each of us is running for home.
