from Eau Claire Hometown Media · host Eau Claire Hometown Media

The 2026 marathon week is in the rear view mirror and by allaccounts it was another successful combination of events. Race Director Abby Seipel has grabbed a water, a nap, taken a deep breath and comes on this episode to provide a recap. Almost 5,500 individuals participated in one of the running events, plus thousands more who visited the expo and lined the race routes. She highlights the volunteers and the small army of peoplewho orchestra all the various mechanisms that create the overall weekend across multiple locations. What does the morning of the marathon look like? How do they put all those finishing touches on the course at the last minute? How did some of the new additions (ie: the Family Fun Zone)work out and what changes are already being discussed for next year. This is an opportunity to relieve the excitement and ofcourse the energy that race weekend created in the area. #ecmarathon #eauclairemarathon#runeauclaire #eauclairewi #runwisconsin #marathontraining #runnerlife#visiteauclaire #midwestrunning #runningpodcast #eauclairepodcast
