Ann Scott, DNP, RN, CCRN-K, CNE and Robin Dawson, PhD, RN, CPNP-PC from the College of Nursing at the University of South Carolina discuss their experience with practicing sim-IPE (simulation enhanced interprofessional education) in rural environments without easy access to large academic medical centers and strategies for successful collaboration with other disciplines when not affiliated with an academic setting.
