Our next guest is co-host of the Local Knowledge television show and Star brite ambassador, Rush Maltz. In great support of this event, Rush and the Local Knowledge crew are back for their second year in a row to fish and create an episode of their show that highlights all the great work being completed. Rush’s voice and passionate dedication for conservation has inspired and motivated so many to adapt to a culture of preserving and restoring our natural resources. At this year’s event, the conservation efforts were nothing short of extraordinary. With the help of the local volunteer community and the Project SeaSafe crew, hundreds of new mangrove bombs were made and planted to help rebuild vital coastal habitats, and in a groundbreaking move, four million clams were released into the Indian River via drone, a revolutionary step in ecological restoration.
