We started our conversation with Russ explaining why he moved to Spain and we both get to share our feelings on the ‘B’ Word -  Brexit. Russ shares his musical background and how he got into the clarinet, then the saxophone, as a teenager. We get into creativity and being dysfunctional, the scary nature of jazz as a genre, and Russ’s academic background which led him to a professorship at Trinity College, London at just 25 years old.
