This evening I'm honored to have with us the talented Mr. Russell Zimmerman. We are having a very candid conversation about getting into the world of writing for role-playing games. You are going to have a blast listening to Russell, and his advice will leave you inspired. Russell 'Rusty' Zimmerman is a freelance writer in the role-playing game, wargame, and video game industries. Originally from California, he now resides in Texas, where he has written the PC game Satellite Reign, and tie-in fiction, sourcebooks, or both, for Mutants and Masterminds, Vampire The Masquerade, Earthdawn, Gangs of the Undercity, and more. He is primarily known for his work within the Shadowrun universe, with fan favorite characters like Dash and Jimmy Kincaid. Rusty has seen several short stories for BattleTech released in Shrapnel magazine, and has a serial fiction and novels in the pipeline. Most recently, he began writing for the Black Library, creating short fiction set in the Warhammer 40k universe. Rusty is slowly but surely gathering the powers of every role-playing game and video game setting he loves. He's getting too strong! He must be stopped! (We are totally kidding!)
