Russia Is Turning Up the Pressure—Ukraine Has to Answer

Russia is adding pressure on Ukraine from multiple directions—and the timing could hardly be worse. Faster Russian drones and missile-drones are cutting Ukraine’s reaction time, North Korean troops could potentially free another 20,000 Russian soldiers for combat, and Russia continues pushing its ballistic-missile campaign while Ukraine faces a worldwide shortage of Patriot interceptors. Ukraine is not standing still. It is beginning to procure its own domestically developed guided aerial bomb, developing additional precision weapons, and Fedorov says Fire Point has already tested a Ukrainian ballistic missile that could be used against Russia before the end of the year.
