Russians at War
from Get Doc’d Podcast Hosted by Get Doc'd
Send us Fan Mail In this bonus episode, Daphne and Wilsen take a deep dive into Russians at War — a rare and controversial documentary that embeds viewers with a Russian battalion moving across the front lines in Ukraine. With years of conflict and little media coverage from inside Russia’s war effort, this film sets out to fill that gap. It offers a raw, unfiltered look at life inside a battalion—what the soldiers see, believe, and endure—pulling back the curtain on a world often shielded from global view. The filmmakers aim to build a bridge between that world and ours, challenging us to confront uncomfortable truths. Daphne and Wilsen explore how Russians at War walks the line between access and propaganda, empathy and accountability. They unpack the film’s ethical tightrope, its emotional weight, and what it reveals—and doesn’t—about the soldiers fighting on Russia’s side. A tense, thought-provoking conversation you won’t want to miss. 📽️ Watch the documentary at www.russiansatwar.com Thanks for listening! Follow us on Facebook.
