The October 2021 death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was tragically hit by a live round of ammunition fired from a prop gun held by Alec Baldwin during a rehearsal on the set of the movie “Rust.” There were opening statements today marking the start of the trial of Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who served as the film's armorer. Now, she has pleaded not guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter and also to tampering with evidence.
