Rutgers Gambles on Blackout Homecoming | Rutgers Scarlet News

Rutgers is pulling out all the stops for their 2026 homecoming game against Indiana, turning it into a high-stakes blackout spectacle with lights dimmed and the whole stadium draped in black. It’s a bold gamble — ditching other potential matchups like USC or Michigan due to timing or vibe — betting that the combination of a top-ranked opponent, national hype, and a dramatic atmosphere will pack the house and ignite a legendary night. Last year’s blowout loss to Oregon left fans early, but Indiana’s defending champion status and No. 6 ranking could be the spark they need. Fans are showing up for a wild ride — hoping this time, the energy doesn’t just light up the stadium, but also lifts the team to an upset win. Just don’t let that opening kickoff return touchdown happen again. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
