Rutgers Lands Top 2027 Guard | Rutgers Basketball News

Rutgers basketball just pulled off a major recruiting win as four-star guard Korey Francis officially commits for the 2027 class — and he’s no ordinary prospect. The 6-foot-3 phenom, named Pennsylvania’s High School Player of the Year after averaging over 21 points and leading his team to a state title, brings elite scoring, rebounding, and playmaking skills to the Scarlet Knights. After a strong official visit, Francis chose Rutgers over other top programs, joining RJ Moore as the only two 2027 commits so far. This early haul signals Rutgers is building serious momentum for the future — and fans are already excited to see how these young stars develop.
