Rutgers Lands Top 60 Wing RJ Moore | Rutgers Basketball News

Rutgers basketball just landed a major coup with the commitment of four-star shooting guard RJ Moore, a 6-foot-6 scorer from South Carolina who’s already averaging 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Ranked among the top 60 nationally for his class, Moore chose Rutgers over elite programs like Alabama, Virginia, and Syracuse — sealing the deal during an official visit. Scouts rave about his smooth three-point stroke and ability to create his own shot, calling him a high-upside wing who can stretch the floor. This is Rutgers’ highest-rated commit since Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey — a huge signal that the Scarlet Knights are serious about building a competitive roster for the 2027 season.
