Rutgers Stars Earn Preseason All-America Honors | Rutgers Scarlet News

Rutgers is heating up the national scene as offensive lineman Kwabena Asamoah and running back Antwan Raymond earn prestigious preseason All-America honors, signaling a breakout season for the Scarlet Knights. Asamoah, a rock at right guard who started all 12 games last year and earned ESPN Second Team All-America status, headlines the first team. Raymond, fueled by Asamoah’s elite blocking, rushed for 1,241 yards and 15 TDs, finishing third in the Big Ten and 14th nationally — including a jaw-dropping 240-yard game against Maryland. With receiver KJ Duff already drawing buzz, this trio is poised to dominate the Big Ten and beyond. Rutgers is building something special — and these accolades prove it.
