Have you ever had someone who wronged you and then wanted to restore the relationship without acknowledging what they did? This is often called “sweeping it under the rug.” The thing is, when things start to pile up under the carpet, it’s going to trip you up and cause more pain. As Pastor Richard will point out in today’s message, true restoration can’t happen until repentance happens, whether it’s in relationship with God or other people.
