Ruth

Naomi's desperate plan sends Ruth alone to a risky threshing floor at night. Yet Ruth approaches Boaz humbly and asks him to marry her as a relative who could recover the family's land. Boaz must first let a closer relative decide whether to redeem, but he promises to settle the matter. God's grace guides this murky situation without making Naomi's choices wise.
