Ruth: Redeeming Risk

In this third chapter of Ruth, Pastor Bogdan challenges the church to take calculated risks, which is essential when you step out in faith, trusting the sovereignty of God. Throughout Scripture, it becomes clear that the greater the risk, the greater may be God’s gracious reward. From this text, we see that Ruth risks but ultimately she trusts Boaz who trusts God whom Boaz loves very much. The same language that is used between Ruth & Boaz is the same language that is used between God and His people. Jesus is our greater, glorious Boaz. Where is it in your life, that God is calling you to take a risk in faith for His glory? Where is it that you are called to be like Ruth, to sit and wait patiently, until you see how the matter turns out? Let's get ready to find hope in Jesus, by listening to this message.
