Buying a home is a huge financial decision that needs to be guided with care. So when her successful son Robert unveiled the mission statement of his company Compass, 'to help everyone find their place in the world', she got tears in her eyes. Reffkin works for her son's company that connects home buyers and sellers with online technology and for which he only hires "nice people." She is proud of her son but worried about the state of post Trump America. “To incite disgruntled crowds with hatred of others and the fear of being taken away from everything; that is the biggest fear of my life.”
