RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #002

from Radio Wilder

It all started with a cherry-red glint in the corner of my eye, a beacon of freedom on two wheels. At 14, in the heart of El Paso’s Upper Valley, I stumbled upon a treasure - a red Allstate scooter, tagged at $125.00, whispering tales of the open road. For days, I gazed longingly, until courage took the wheel. The owner, a college-bound chap, agreed to a secret deal. My piggy bank bled $90.00, but dreams are worth every penny. And soon, with $125 in hand, the scooter and I were one. We zipped through backstreets, fueled by youthful rebellion. My first taste of independence? A daring dash for gas, venturing beyond the familiar lanes. For two glorious years, that scooter was my wings, my covert companion in crime. That little red ride revved up a lifelong love affair with all things fast and furious. From 65 cars to a fleet of motorcycles, I've had a mid-life crisis ever since. And now, Capt’n Dave is here to fuel your Friday with a rock ‘n’ roll odyssey! We’re kickstarting the journey with Pearl Jam’s electric anthems, cruising through ‘The Kid with the Butterfly Net’, and Cake’s defiant ‘I Will Survive’. Jerry Butler’s soulful serenade joins the mix, while Jesse Malin and Lucinda Williams bring ‘Dead On’ to life. Don't miss our ‘California Dreaming’ cover in the Deuces are Wilder segment. So buckle up, tune in, and let The Internet Radio Man take you on a wilder ride than ever before. A special shout-out to the Inside Self Storage crew - Vegas awaits your grand showcase next week! Thanks for tuning in, and remember, when the rubber meets the road, RadioWilderLive.com is there to crank up the volume!

Radio Maria Kenya Radio Maria Kenya A Christian voice in Kenya and in the World NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next. So tune in The Brackenfield Records Anvil Audio Productions An off-beat homage to classic radio detectives of the 1940s and '50s, The Brackenfield Records offers comforting genre fare, sitting somewhere between cosy and hard-boiled crime fiction.Whether it's dealing with unfaithful spouses, off-the-rails celebrities, crooked businesspeople, or gun-toting no-gooders, Brackenfield never falters!
