Ryan McLaughlin

Singer-songwriter Ryan McLaughlin joins Tulsa Tempo for an intimate conversation and live performance straight from Tulsa’s music heartbeat. Ryan shares the story behind his 2016 album Foolish Kid (recorded with producer John Coggins) and why he’s ready to get back in the studio—possibly at the legendary Church Studio. You’ll hear live versions of “Reaching Out” (his next single), “Wonderlust” (a lyric-forward love song built on vivid imagery), plus favorites like “Love Like You” and “Little Bit of Something.” Ryan also talks influences (from Ryan Adams to David Ramirez and Dan Layus of Augustana), Tulsa’s incredible scene, life as a dad, and a career highlight—opening for Tyler Ramsey (Band of Horses) at the Vanguard.
