In today's episode I am joined with Hope, where today we talk about Hope's Brother who passed who had Bowel Cancer, His name was Ryan and hope talks about his story! Ryan was Hope said that they told us you can't get Bowel Cancer and the age of 23 that's too young! Hope stated we know if he was 40 or over we would of been tested but wasn't until it was too late. Ryan was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at the age of 11 years old and professional's blamed the ulcerative Colitis was the problem. bowel cancer didn't even come to mind. Hope was interviewed by MTV news in a inspirational interview she said "When a medical professional tells you it was just Ulcerative Colitis, you will believe them. He was failed 100% Hope said in today's podcast episode that she wants to raise awareness of IBD as much as she can so things like this doesn't happen to anyone else. Hope's family is filled with Ulcerative Colitis and has a best friend in Steph who appeared on the podcast last year who also has Ulcerative Colitis. Hope is very passionate to share awareness and honour Ryan's memory. Hope says that she hopes Ryan's story shows people can get Bowel Cancer in your early 20's not just your early 40's. And keep pushing if you feel something is wrong go with your gut instinct! This is a really inspirational episode and we will remember Ryan's Story forever!
