Ryder Turner : Beauty for Ashes, When Returning Home Changes Everything.
from Mission Accomplished Hosted by Brandon Leavitt
Ryder served in Ecuador and St. Louis, Missouri. After just one transfer, he unexpectedly found himself back home, facing some difficult decisions and an uncertain future. His story is truly one of beauty for ashes. During the six months he spent at home, Ryder experienced the healing and transforming power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ in a deeply personal way. When he returned to the mission field, he was a force to be reckoned with. His renewed commitment to hard work, obedience, and the Lord allowed him to move mountains in His name. Ryder’s story is a powerful reminder that setbacks do not have to define us—and that through Jesus Christ, we can return stronger, more converted, and more determined than ever before.
