Growing up in the Kyle house, they knew they loved track and field, and the youngest of 3, William Kyle III, was no different excelling at multiple events. Still, finding his niche in the 800m with numerous national stage victories in events, the single-person accomplishments set an excellent foundation for a team sport like basketball. But as Father William Kyle Jr watched his son grow in his love for basketball, the journey took another path to where neither expected. Still, the expectation stayed the same work hard, be dedicated, and hold your accountability high while ensuring the Student part of Student-Athlete stayed on track. The opportunity earned and given once he joined South Dakota State University created a home feeling he got from his basketball career while at the dynasty time at his alma mater Bellevue West High School.
