What do you do when you don't have time to think? Comedian Jeff Foxworthy got his big break on The Johnny Carson show; producers told him that he had EXACTLY 6 minutes to perform his set. Not 5 minutes and 50 seconds. Not 6 minutes and five seconds-he had EXACTLY 6 minutes. Foxworthy practiced his set until he had it precisely at 6 minutes, but there was one thing he didn't factor in, the audience's laughter and applause, which derailed his timing.
