Finally, the Abbot explains how medical science has probably made the quest to "upload" the human brain unnecessarily complicated, thereby blocking progress in the field. He offers the world his thoughts on recent research at a Russian institute that has sidestepped many of the self-imposed obstacles in that field of research, to produce impresive results.
