Often times people bring their trauma to church or their trauma started in a church but they cannot separate the culprit from God. It is like a man/woman of the cloth and God is one in the same. They're not! Some trauma is simply from being convicted by God and other are way worse and those traumas came from a wolf in sheep's clothing.
