S01 E03 Dealing with Self Doubt & Overthinking by Simerjeet Singh in Hindi | #CoachOnCampus

from Simerjeet Singh Podcast · host Simerjeet Singh

This is part 3 of the motivational #CoachOnCampus series that was shot by inspirational speaker and youth coach Simerjeet Singh at the DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jalandhar early this year. In this inspiring audio, Simerjeet answers a question by one of the students on how to overcome self doubt.  The question starts with the premise that we tend to have self doubts because we are constantly preparing and brooding upon the worst case scenario. This is a common problem that majority of people face - it can be categorized as negative thinking but can also be called meticulous planning. People in the DISC profile with a conscientiousness attribute fall into this personality type. Simerjeet Singh addresses several connected ideologies that lead to anxiety and fear of worst case scenarios. By using analogies that one can easily identify with, Simerjeet Singh helps alleviate the fear of failure by helping students find strength within themselves and keep faith in the actions that they have chosen to take, keeping the worst case scenario in mind.  Being prepared is good and one must always think of all possible scenarios. But dwelling upon the negative will end up attracting the negative - on the contrary, dwelling upon the best possible outcome prepares us for success while keeping us ready to tackle road blocks and challenges. The success tips shared in this inspiring audio are potent and well researched, giving students deep insights into mind hacks that kill negativity and promote positive thinking as a mindful habit.
