We discuss internet technologies for availability to students and teachers. We discuss the issues with equity, new technological adoption by teachers and students in breakneck time even when some users may not be thoroughly competent in integrating into the curriculum or the user experience. We discuss how school districts can conduct summative evaluative approaches in measuring the effectiveness and deployment of novel technologies for use by school-age children. Drs. Pratt and Bigham offer suggestions to administrators and teachers for finding the Goldilocks zone between new adoption and effective teaching.
