S02E14 - Jackie Brown
from Groundless (A Justified Podcast) Hosted by Groundless Podcast
Finally, right? After much delay in the editing booth we present Groundless's (probably still too long) look at Jackie Brown. Join us for this extra-stuffed episode to reminisce about music in the nineties, get a law minute on the 4th amendment, discuss the finer (and lower) points of DeNiro's work-for-any-paycheck recent career and compare it with an older actress's would-kill-for-a-paycheck late career, learn how amazing the timing of the music in this movie is, and just generally bask in the greatness of Q and Elmore's masterpiece. We cut about 30 minutes out of this podcast, which is the first time we've made significant cuts. If you're interested in an uncut version, let us know and maybe we can release it. Don't forget to rate, review, and subscribe. Catch us on socials @groundlesspodcast or @groundlesspod. E-mail us at [email protected]. We'll be back on June 13 with a look at Season 3, Episode 2 of Justified! Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/groundless-a-justified-podcast--5328867/support.
