S04E13 - 04-28-2022 - Allison Yellowknee - Experiencer Testimony, Hybrid Program & Ancestry

Allison was born and raised in a small town of Slave Lake Alberta. It was difficult enough being an Indigenous girl - dealing with cruelty and racism – not without adding paranormal on top of that. All her life she lived in fear of the dark, as she knew this was when “they” came to visit. She has experienced wakeful dreams, lost time and as any experiencer would, she attempted to explain her events as “dreams” …But too often she had bruises, markings, and ailments upon waking. Most of her family and friends were unaware of everything she was going through and the people she confided in didn’t believe her. So as many experiencers, she kept silent and led a “dual” life. As time went on, Allison noticed more symptoms and strange happenings with her body. This brought her to Reiki Healing and, soon realized that energy work and helping others was her calling. Reiki has helped her remove the fear that crippled her life. Still having to navigate her mundane life tasks and function in society she has found solace in her unique perspective to life. Since turning 50 and realizing her children are adults, she wants to share some of her experiences and insights with the hybrid program and how her ancestry has unfolded to tell an interesting story.
