S07E06 All Four Quarters Podcast - Week 5 Review & Week 6 Preview
from All Four Quarters · host All Four Quarters Podcast
WEEK 5 REVIEW + WEEK 6 PREVIEW A big week in the NFL as an exciting Week 6 was quickly overshadowed by the resignation of Raiders Head Coach Jon Gruden after the New York Times published a trove of emails detailing years of derogatory comments from Gruden in correspondence with former Washington Football Team President Bruce Allen. We summarize what was in those emails and what the future of the Raiders may look like in the post-Gruden era. We also look at the surprise mid-season moves for Stephon Gilmore and Jaylon Smith, the big Russell Wilson injury (amongst others) and the recent announcements on the future of the NFL's International Series. In our week 5 review we focus on an epic shootout between the Chargers and Browns as Justin Herbert shows off his MVP bona fides as he outguns the power of a rejuvenated Baker and the ever dominant Browns running game and also dig into a tense overtime victory for the Packers over the Bengals as a tight, tough game finishes in farce as special teams screwups gave both teams numerous chances to steal the win. In our Week 6 preview we preview every game and give special attention to a clash of styles as the chaotic Cardinals pass offense faces off against the bruising Browns running game, a big AFC battle as the resourceful Ravens attempt another shock win against the ascending LA Chargers and another chance for Belichick to try and frustrate a highly vaunted offense as Dak and company travel to New England to continue their winning streak. So make sure you are up to date with all the latest news, views and overreactions to all things NFL with the All Four Quarters Podcast.
